Smith & Cult Nail Polish

My nails have been very brittle and breaking off for the past year, so I haven’t been paying them much attention. At the same time I’ve developed quite the collection of Smith & Cult nail polishes. Recently, they have gotten stronger and started growing again, so I took advantage and used one of their newest summer shades that I am OBSESSED with!

Fade the Sun ($18) is a very soft tangerine/coral orange, with micro glitters that create an iridescent gold shift. The vegan formula is 8-free so it doesn’t include Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor, Xylene, Ethyl Tosylamide, & Triphenyl Phosphate. They are also Gluten-Free for anyone who has skin reactions to gluten products.

What I like most about these polishes is that most only require 1-2 coats, and they are self leveling. You end up with very clean lines, even if you’ve done your own nails. Without top coats, you can expect to get 3-5 days wear out of your manicure. With a top coat, you can expect them to last 4 - 6 days. I’ve actually had pedicures for over a week with their polishes that didn't’t chip at all.

The Smith & Cult polish range includes bases, top goats, glitter polishes, and more. Right now I have about 10 of these polishes because of how easy they are to use, and how opaque a majority of the formulas are. If you like to do your own nails, or take your own shades to the nail salon, and are looking for Vegan and crulty-free nail products, check out their full collection at Smith & Cult Online.
