If you’re anything like me you hate cleaning your make up brushes. I spend hours washing my brushes, a few more waiting for them to dry. For the makeup junkies out there, this can really interfere when you need time to do multiple make up looks, and play with new palettes on the weekend.
I got an email from Ulta that they had a shadow switching pan that immediately grabbed my attention. Nicole Concilio uses one on her channel while she’s doing her looks so I needed to try this one out for myself.
The instructions read “This dry make up removing sponge allows you to use the same brush for different eye shadow colors without mixing the shade to getting your brush wet.” When I used it for myself, I was definitely able to get all of my eyeshadow brushes relatively clean. My white hair brushes don’t get completely clean since the pigments need a strong detergent to get them out of the hairs, but they do keep them clean enough so you can continue using them multiple times in between washes.
I think my favorite part is that they can be used dry so even if it takes you 30 minutes to get all your brushes clean, you don’t have to wait for them to dry which could be anywhere from 3 to 5 hours for me. Unfortunately, it’s not the biggest so they don’t work the greatest with face and complexion brushes.
If you use multiple crease colors, and wear makeup on a daily basis then this is the perfect accessory for you. It is only $9, available online and in every Ulta store nationwide.
