I prefer bar soaps over body washes, but they can be very messy. They either get stuck to my surfaces, or dissolve faster from sitting in a puddle of water in my soap dish. When I was contacted to try out SoapStandle, I thought to myself this can be the solution to my soap problems.

Small points on the standle allows it to adhere to your bars, and elevates it from whatever surface it is on. It is reusable and recyclable, making it easy to switch from one bar to another. Additionally, when you purchase a soap standee, one gets donated to global hand washing programs that can help prevent illnesses caused by poor hygiene.

So far, I have both of my standles on my soaps on my sink countertop, and in my shower. The only drawback is that the shape fits on flat soaps. I tend to receive bars that are curved on the bottoms, so I’m not able to push the standle into the groove. I can only sit the soap on top of it, instead of it affixing to the bottom.

Although they don’t fit exactly, they still work as a platform and keep by bars in tact. I’ve had one on for about a month, and the brand engravings are still visible on the top of my soap, even after using daily to wash my hands.

Final Thoughts

If you are frustrated by your bar soaps dissolving quickly, and constantly having to clean goo from your counters and soap dishes, then this may be up your alley. Unless the teeth break, I expect that they can last for years, which is a great investment at $8.
