L’Oréal Paris Lash Serum Solution
Before vs. After
I’ve been blogging for over 5 years, and I’ve been sent a number of products. As many as I’ve received, I have never been fortunate to test out products ahead of their release. That changed courtesy of Influenster and L’Oréal Paris.
I was lucky enough to be selected to participate in a 4-week trial testing out the new L’Oréal Paris Lash Serum Solution. This serum is formulated with a lash-caring complex of glycerin, pro vitamin B5, hyaluronic acid, madecassoside, and arginine. This product claims to condition and strengthen your lashes over time, with 7 out of 10 women seeing less lash loss after makeup removal. It also claims that you will see a denser and thicker looking lash fringe after 4 weeks.

My Experience
This was the first lash serum I’ve ever used so I don’t have a comparable product from another brand, but I will say I did notice a difference after using morning and night for 4 weeks. I have heard horror stories about other serums including darker lids, itchy eyes, and even eye infections but this one doesn’t do any of that.
Before vs. After
Some of my lashes are definitely longer. It’s not uniform, but you can definitely tell which lashes didn’t shed and grew longer than others that may be growing back in. I also have very long bottom lashes, so I feel that there is a better balance between the length on my top and bottom lids.
There was only one drawback for me personally. I have a natural curl in my lash, which I lost with the length that I obtained from using this product. It is now harder for me to match my natural lash with a false lash because mine tent to stick straight out now, and harder for them to hold a curl.
Final Thoughts
I was not disappointed, but I also wasn’t completely blown away. I don’t apply false lashes or mascara on a daily basis, so I can’t truly speak on the claims on lash shedding because it is not something I pay much attention to. I was very diligent with the morning and night application for the review. In the time since the required 4-week period ended, I have been less efficient with the application because it is an easily forgettable step in my skincare routine.
Since I already have long lashes, I don’t know if this is something I will keep in my daily routine. I would however recommend trying it if you’re looking for a lash retention and growth product, and are looking for a what I am assuming will be a budget friendly option.
This product is not available yet, so I apologize for the lack of pricing and availability. I will make sure to update this post as soon as it becomes available on The L’Oréal Paris website.
